  1. for mario based games ull likely have to switch the selected platform, as mentioned above πŸ™‚ i only provided example links for PC games.
  2. aw now ure making me all melancholic dude, i also rocked voodoo 1 and 2 cards, both Diamond Monsters 🀠
  3. agreed. for a more expansive list, i always like to go to metacritic: top PC games by metascore: https://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/release-date/available/pc/metascore top PC games by user score: https://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/release-date/available/pc/userscore can also switch platforms to consoles or streaming platforms.
  4. he probably meant browser tab symbols like here: the active one surrounded by the grey symbols are all on NBT and basically just show the stock symbol, as if you would open an empty tab.
  5. wooooo weve all been waiting for this! now we can finally start the SERIOUS benching with A380s πŸ˜„ easy way to collect points on the bot 🀠 whos gonna be the first to go LHe on this beast? 🀣
  6. aaaah, one big happy tech nerd family here at NBT, gotta love it 🀣 sooo, on another note, i got a big favor to ask for the community here: anyone willing to lend an Alder Lake K cpu for testing purposes? unfortunately, i cant do much testing with the 12600 i have in my gf's machine. it would also need to be a sku with iGPU. located in europe. might be a long shot, but i figure id ask before going off and buying πŸ˜„
  7. years! dude! about time, enjoy πŸ™‚
  8. My mind was recently blown when I saw that they finally reached nuclear fusion ignition: https://www.llnl.gov/news/three-peer-reviewed-papers-highlight-scientific-results-national-ignition-facility-record Ignition is basically the point, at which a nuclear fusion reaction becomes self-sustaining, i.e. the energy it generates is more than is needed to keep it runnning, thus generating net energy. huuuuuuuuuuuuuge milestone! btw, its called "ignition" because thats also the point at which a condensed cloud of gas in space turns into a real star, once it gets hot and dense enough to reach nuclear fusion ignition and turn self-sustained.
  9. will have a looksie on this one πŸ™‚ Half-Life series / C&C series / Titan Quest / Wolfenstein series / Portal series / Age of Empires (but personally only the first one) / Doom series / Wing Commander & Freespace series / Left 4 Dead series / Serious Sam series this off the top of my head, classic evergreens with tons of replay value πŸ™‚
  10. LOL i did exactly that just a few weeks ago...also to no avail hahaha
  11. yep true, although i have noticed that 2TB seems to be the new sweet spot vs. 1TB previously for price per TB. only exception here are the 870 QVO by Samsung that have amazing prices for their 4 and 8TB drives, but yeah....QLC 😐 not an option.
  12. no idea if this is gonna help, especially since u dont know how the router is set up, but u can try the following: - Channel Width for 2.4 / 5 Ghz = Auto - MIMO power save mode = No SMPS - Roaming Aggressiveness = Medium - Throughput Booster = Enabled - Transmit Power = Highest
  13. lol i knooooow right?! same for SSDs, keeping an eye out for a Seagate Firecuda 530 4TB, new price has plummeted to 600-640€, whereas on ebay peeps are still delusional enough to offer 700+ for USED drives....wth some of them without packaging or sticker/heatsink on the drive... and those new prices mentioned above are actually for the heatsink version... πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
  14. alrighty, time to get back to flashing / testing tonight after a long weekend celebrating a "mini-moon" with my lady following our wedding last thursday 😁 while we were out for a photo-shoot after the ceremony, a random dude passed me by and was like "GAME OVER!". totally cracked me up 🀣
  15. haha good on you to be cautious πŸ˜„ but no, havent had any issues with their builds πŸ™‚ also, u can just do a fresh install and test run it first before putting any of ur data on the machine. that way it doesnt matter if there are any viruses or malware.
  16. well, generally its nothing new though, same with socketed CPUs in laptops. things have a habit of coming back, not just in the fashion world haha Asus GX700VO from 2016 as an example: https://www.asus.com/de/SupportOnly/GX700VO/HelpDesk_Knowledge/ i still remember @Mr. Fox lovingly referring to the external module as a "colostomy bag" 🀣
  17. if youre looking for decrapified windows ISOs, have a looksie here: https://phoenixliteos.com/ ive tried them on my gf's machine and its running pretty smoothly thus far πŸ™‚
  18. have u tried connecting an external display, see if that works? apologies if uve covered that before, just popped into my head when i saw ur message here. u might also want to try and purchase a complete machine if u can find it, the cost shouldnt be that much different from a mobo alone, plus u could still sell off non-required parts and keep the rest for repair purposes.
  19. oooh im dumb, u slapped it into one of the three OPEN slots, gotcha πŸ˜ƒcarry on!
  20. oh dude, i havent thought of obsidian fan control in ages, good find! wasnt it bundled in an obsidian package of sorts with all kinds of options like driver updates, oc tools, fan control etc? what kinda leeway does it provide in terms of fan control vs CCC for our machine? @bca009 iirc there were two versions of it, one freeware, the other donation based. but its been a while....
  21. ure contradicting urself there bud πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‚
  22. oh wow thats an unusual config, BGA cpu, mxm gpu and THREE ram slots? way back in the day i used to own an Asus C90S that also sported three ram slots that were actually able to do asynchronous dual channel... that was actually the machine that got me into high perf mobile computing and also the reason why i registered at NBR πŸ˜πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
