Its old fashioned but I found somethings are just easier to write down. I have 3 small notebooks, one for logins, one for cart reference / knowledge / mostly CEL codes and how to troubleshoot them / last is general. Which is where my profiles and such get written down. One thing not to forget with the prior Witcher 3 test, your max may not have improved to a noticeable level in gaming but the other to check is how your minimums might have changed? Almost more important in the eyes of some though I imagine it may be preference (like many other things out there!). -
@Aaron44126 come and take a bow my friend, your reputation proceeds you!

So it turns out im not patient enough to sit on new hardware. Going to finally use the stock heatsink for the 2700x and see if I can put the NH-D15s on the 10850K, I believe it may have the mounting bracket already. If not I'll get it ordered. -
When the lines between home and work are blurred, it tends to lead to less pleasant mental state at home. its an issue I would personally welcome, but due to the nature of my work. Is not possible, I never stopped commuting to work these past few years.

I arrived at similar conclusions, but started looking at 80mm double width radiators. I never entertained them in the past as an option but it seems every time I build something its always non-standard. I must be a closet eccentric and not know it. I am looking at these for now at least until I make a mock up and play with the idea more. Any meaningful differences between these? HPE-60 and UT60 https://www.aquatuning.us/water-cooling/radiators/radiators-active/80mm/23804/alphacool-nexxxos-ut60-full-copper-x-flow-80mm-quad-radiator?c=6566 https://www.aquatuning.us/water-cooling/radiators/radiators-active/80mm/27685/alphacool-nexxxos-hpe-60-full-copper-x-flow-80mm-quad-radiator?c=6566

The PSU is covered, I have several 750w and 1200w Server PSU's Just have to grab a breakout board for them. Works much better for concealing them underneath or above something 🙂 Bigger problem is finding this fan controller or one of equal standing. That and some other things, I'll try to refrain from taking this off topic, but for now anyone interested in giving some input can direct it to the linked thread below. Just saw your added links, will check them out now 🙂 Thanks for sharing! -

Looks perfect, I may have to look for its successor or something akin to that as it appears to be out of stock everywhere on a quick search -

Im still mining, profits are down but for 150 of power I still get around 650-800, in fact it paid for the bundle. Im mostly in it for the long haul, while it did save me a bit here and there having a nest egg, I'd like to have it pay for my student loans at least in some meaningful chunk of it, so while everyone screams the end is nigh I'll just keep chugging along. My MSI RTX 3080 seemed to have blown a cable, luckily still works but i need to clear the burnt plastic before I put it back to work. -

Yeah the only thing on the bundle that I will probably swap out is the RAM, but i assume you got these for benchmarking. I'll see what my kit can do after that but they were purchased with the 2700x in mind, they are 3200Mhz XMP so who knows, time will tell. Im thinking of taking the pedestal-esque approach mostly due to how I want to have it right next to the window, essentially running the room in negative pressure so that I can keep mining through the summer. Also, the starting frame work I have in mind is perfect for it. It will be interesting to be running a watercooled portion of the desktop that I personally use, but keep everything else air cooled. The money will go where it really counts, and I will be primarily using anything I have on hand first before buying more stuff. Just my nature. Do you guys have any good fan controllers that are externally powered in mind? -
I have been looking around a bit today but sadly it looks to be that no one manufactures this type of radiators? I dont have my ear to the ground on this genre anymore like I had maybe 10 years ago, is 2x92mm the best I can find? Thanks in advance EDIT: The reason I ask about 92mm is because I have access to maybe a dozen or more Dell Precision 92mm fans and they move quite a bit of air when maxed, more importantly, they are free lol. We already get this when we disable driver signing, now it's there to remind you don't measure up :/

Is that tubing meant to appear frosted? I must admit I kind of like that appearance. I have been having difficulty determining how I am going to build things out after having moved into a new house. I may end up keeping one of the Dell workstations for VM practice and things of that nature. The main issue at hand is not wasting this wonderful opportunity that Mr. Fox has allowed to fall my way. It would be such a waste to have that bundle work only for mining. For now I would like for this to replace my laptop as the daily driver, increase my mining potential, increase my storage for plex and also of course, some gaming! Probably be one of my 5700xt's until I find something more proper like a 6xxx that doesn't do as well for mining. This little project will likely take place before summer is in full swing. Because of what I want to consolidate its not going to to be pretty (because I'm a cheapskate) but it will do what I want it to (hopefully). -

It's going to be a little while yet before I have the time to fully engage that little project. Need to make a few more purchases as well since a majority of my parts are from Dell stations which are all proprietary. Once I have everything ill make a bit of a build log and we can have some fun then :) promise! -

280mm and 3 slot GPU's ? Sounds like a match made in heaven! Really the main issue I take with my TU150 is the glass window. Purchased it before I knew there was a vented variant. -
I just wanted to leave a little mark of history that seems to be whittling away with time. I never knew Syrillian personally, only by his work. He was quite gifted with tools and acrylic. He had quite a resume of interesting mod projects that used to be hosted over at Overclock.net. From I had seen he seemed to be quite a nice fellow, with a keen sense of creativity. Not to mention, iirc, he was quite jacked! Sadly cancer took what was previously the picture of health and whittled him down until nothing remained. Syrillian had already passed when I learned of who he was, but his effect on me has been long lasting. Syrillian was the catalyst to what little I had contributed in the world of custom modifications, and why I still on occasion dabble in the space. While I wont reach the same heights, its important to pay respect where respect is due. Thanks mate, for what you contributed to your community while you were present, and for the legacy you left behind.

Correct, as we have asked both publicly and privately to simply PM the keys and all is resolved. I had a productive conversation with Ryan before so its quite disheartening seeing this new development. -
Keep it clean folks

Started my second playthrough of God of War, increased the difficulty and doing another run. :) The game was pretty good, I enjoyed it. Hopefully the next one is a bit longer

I did want one, so a little bummed out on that note. Hopefully it actually delivers otherwise FX-9590 memes will have a field day. -
I like the AW13 R3 more than this and that laptop sat on a shelf for about a year before I sold it. I still debate getting another one from time to time, but more so the lower end model just for the purpose I tend to put in place for that hypothetical system. I still wish it had no GPU and came with a 7820hk instead.

For a long time I really wanted to run my own SCHThack server for PSOBB. I still have most of the files on one of my systems. Maybe we can host it if I can nag at @Hiew long enough to make him concede to my demands hahaha :D I did like PSO2 though, I think we stopped playing mostly because the middleman client we were using at the time stopped working (before steam release).

Time to get some Linux guides for the forum 😄

I stick with my RSX and removed the seats, started cutting weight. 35-40 fills my tank but even then right now I am carpooling to work and back. Last movie I watched was Return of the King (extended)
