More bling bling and more software. Can't beat that combo. And the v2 refresh cost as usual a lot more than its predecessor. With all sorts of RGB lights in the chassis... Are people still able to see what HW they have in there? For me it would be the same as see right into the sun. Probably even worse because of all of the shifting fancy pastel colors and blink blink all day/night, LOOL

I expect people can't get enough of RGB lights. When will wee see a chassis coating with nano bling bling paint connected to the MB's RGB hub?

So to answer your question, yes it's possible, but not in the sense you keep trying to convey it in.

Short answer. Prema.

Long answer. The unknown is always considered impossible.

Explanation: You are fixated on 115W. In this case it's just a number that can in fact be changed. What cant really be changed is the fact it's a 3060. (User khenglish does not count here-LOL) Once you realize this, things will start to become clearer and make more sense...."

That's the purpose of mux, and even if it doesn't work still that's why one of the pivotal tools is the ch134a programmer as it bypassed the need for the target system to be in operation.

I suppose also would be to check if the vbios is its own standalone chip as opposed to hp in the past where the vbios is actually within the sbios

So you've reached your hard wall in terms of what you're willing to do to achieve better scores. We all have that line in the sand we draw for what we're willing to do to hit next level. For example, I don't think any of us do LN2.

Very reason I keep a couple of programmers around for when (v)BIOS chips go all caddy wumpus or to force the narrative when software tools will not comply.

i'll be blunt alot of 3060s are getting 7k in stock performance on time spy....I should just be happy with the fact I broke 9k yes a few broke 10k but it really serves no purpose when lowering shadows from ultra to high will net a greater performance gain than the 20 percent bump with overclocking..I'd also like to add i'm old school gamer and fiddling with settings for me is half of the game. I don't mind a slight reduction in IQ for a like 100 percent bump in performance...

when I had a 4k tv as a monitor I was able to game at 4k/60 with mixed settings in nearly every new game...ultra nah i'll pass....I personally take alot of pictures of games benchmark scores ecetera, and I have a greatly hard time finding a difference between high/med even in side by side pictures nevermind moving and playing

Well, that's not good. Seems like these clowns suck as bad (maybe even worse) as ASUS when it comes to lousy customer service. It is really disappointing. I do like the Unify-X more than I expected to, but I may avoid MSI going forward if this is an example of what can be expected if you need to make a warranty claim. This is an example of inexcusable incompetence and truly lousy customer service from MSI, and companies that mismanage their business this way deserve to go bankrupt.

I don't remember what the problem was with your board. Seems like they should just be swapping it out with a replacement. This should have been resolved in a week or less, at most. It is totally unacceptable how long this is taking. I really hate how expensive EVGA Dark boards are, but this makes me think that they really are the only company that deserves to get our money. They are the only company in this space that I know of that handles warranty service in an honorable, timely and customer-centric manner.

The LED for the reset button on my tuning panel has stopped working. While it is annoying, the device itself still works. But, I probably should reach out to them about having it replaced for no other reason than an experiment to find out if they are going to give me the same degree of run-around they are with your situation. Here again, this is something I would expect them to just immediately offer to send me a replacement part, no questions asked, with a return label. They can hold my credit card info just in case I don't return the original part or lied to them about what is wrong with it, and I am totally fine with that. They deserve protection from dishonesty and that protects them while taking care of the customer need immediately.

If they tell me I have to send in the entire motherboard package or even just the tuning panel and wait for them to do something I am going to blow them off and never buy anything from them again. But, then I will complain about their unacceptable crappy service in public places whenever I find an opportunity to plant seeds of doubt about buying their brand in the minds of potential customers.

Well, I finally got word from Supercool Computer that my order placed on 4/25 should ship sometime today. I am eager to see how well that direct die block works on the 12900K. If it works as well as their direct die block works on the 10900K it is going to be excellent.

I should also be receiving the DDR5 water block from Aliexpress soon. I did not like the idea of having a water block on the RAM because it would be really inconvenient having it installed in series with short runs of tubing between the CPU or GPU. However, it should be very convenient and easy to deal with using that EK manifold. I really love how simplified things are using that manifold. It works better than I imagined it would. With each component being separated with its own cooling lines running off of that block it makes working on things so much easier. Removing the CPU or GPU doesn't involve the cooling lines for the other component, and the same will be true for the memory. With the QDC fittings on the manifold, no caution is required in terms of having water drip on the motherboard. If the QDC fittings squirt a few drops of water, the manifold is in an area were it just doesn't matter because there is nothing that can be adversely affected by it.

They should have just swapped it for a new replacement. The fact that they made you send in a new board for "repair" and sent it back not fixed is unacceptable. This puts them into the same class as the idiot losers at ASUS that don't give a damn about customer experience.

You work, take care of at home responsibilities (many of us have wives and children (some grown)) and do as you want in your free time.

I'm online most of the day so responding or frequenting websites and forums can be integrated while working.

I don't really have a lot of spare time because of work. I have access to the forum while I work and take breaks to do what I enjoy. I have been in the same industry for more than 35 years. I could end up having to work to age 75 because my retirement nest egg that I have pinched and scraped so hard to prepare for that has lost so much value the past few months, so that will likely end up looking more like 50 years.

Find something you are good at and don't hate doing, then do it consistently to the best of your ability and that will take you far. It is difficult to find employees that consistently produce great work, care about their job, are reliable and trustworthy. If you are that way for yourself or a company, you will be successful. The hard part for good employees is finding a good company. They're sometimes as difficult to find just as good employees are. Some are good for a while, then put bad leaders in place and ruin a good thing.

I think there is a lot of truth to the old cliche that "people don't leave bad jobs; they leave bad bosses." What I've learned over the years is if you have a truly bad boss, wait a bit if they're not so horrible or abusive that you just can't tolerate them. If he/she is truly horrible, they probably won't be your boss for long unless you also work for a horrible company.

Day included night have 24 hours. In works is normally 7,5-8 hours. And you really don't need more than 4-7 hours sleep. Spend rest of the time on what you want. Some prefer use their freetime on tv, some sit on a coffe shop, some on the pub/bar and some with fam (you can include a lot self time within that time). And a lot in between. A single bench is from 3 sec to 1/2 an hour. How much time you want to spend on it, depends on the individuals. None is equal. As I always say... The day have all too few hours...  Same for the living life. Spend them on what you like. And time is freshware... When you look on your watch then you'll see the seconds ticking away and all that time you have watched "will you never ever see again".

Why Corsair Users Should Install iCUE

If you own any Corsair devices or peripherals, then you should absolutely install iCUE. The free program lets you manage, control, and customize your Corsair gear, allowing you to make the most out of them….

Oh' Hell nooo. Hell will freeze before I follow that advice from Howtogeek. I already live in a Snow Hell. 3 weeks forwards and we are in the first Summer months.  And the cold, snow and wind will come back in October and last until same time next year (2023). Yep, I'm used to to freeze and Hell, so for me... No in Hell, I want this installed. Free or not doesn't matter.

Today evening. 0-2 degrees outside, rain, snow, wind, max humidity and sleet, then it comes in the opposite row.  A never ending game changer here on top of North Scandinavia. I wish I could spent my valuable time "lack of enough hours" better than complaining on the weather. But nope, I can't.  I should rather have benched. Please send me a few more hours (or better weather), bro @ryan 🙂🙂🙂

This is bar none, the best advice to seriously consider, its also, a fairly enduring and difficult undertaking. Life is hardly conducive to allowing for someone to hone a singular profession without some willingness to be abrasive.
