Rx 6400/1650 ti performance for 600$. That's a steal. Who is this this cards really meant for? Office users that can't buy anything than Intel products/have to use up their budget for tech? What a huge Joke! Intel have gone bananas. No wonder they prefer offer this low entry card with the disgusting price tag first in China and not in U.S/EU. Yep, can't be a 1th April deal. We are already in end of June. China can't be much worse than here home (we have added 25% tax on top). But I wouldn't touch this crazy deal with a 10 feet pole. Those that buy this is either very messed up in their head or just plain stupid. Or both. We have words for this here home... "Klin kokos". Damn it fits very well for Intel and the buyers of this new graphics card https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klin_kokos Translated to English... KOKO Intel’s first custom ARC A380 graphics card officially listed in China for 3999 RMB (595 USD) https://videocardz.com/newz/intels-first-custom-arc-a380-graphics-card-officially-listed-in-china-for-3999-rmb-595-usd Are you in a need for a new graphics card bro @Mr. Fox ?🙃 Whats wrong with todays tech companies? -
One more bug: June updates break login process for Windows on ARM Quickly after releasing June Cumulative updates Microsoft confirmed a bug that prevents the user from enabling a mobile hotspot on Windows 11 and 10. Sadly, it was not the only bug introduced in this update. Another issue affects ARM versions of the OSes and breaks the login process. Microsoft acknowledges that a Windows 11 update is causing serious connection issues betanews.com And Microsofts engineers prefer do it the same for their whole product stack.... Recent Windows Server updates break VPN, RDP, RRAS connections This month's Windows Server updates are causing a wide range of issues for administrators, including VPN and RDP connectivity problems on servers with Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) enabled.

@Custom90gt The history seen from this article from Computerbase confirms how AMD screwed their HEDT customers. The previous Threadripper socket mess (change only for a change) just confirms that AMD didn't bother offer similar as for their mainstream platform. Ryzen Threadripper 5000: AMD once again takes pity on Threadripper computerbase.de 3/8/2022 3:00 p.m The last little loved child is now finally on the market: Threadripper 5000. But the thing has the famous catch, because it will not be available as a HEDT variant for the desktop, only workstations will be served with the Pro version. And here it is again just a converted Epyc processor. AMD Ryzen Threadripper has changed On November 5, 2020 AMD released the Zen 3 processors on the market, today, 488 days later, the Threadripper is finally available. Started in 2017 as a flagship project for the HEDT segment, nothing is left of it now. The initial driving forces behind the project have been gone for years, with Jim Anderson leaving in 2018 to become CEO at Lattice Semiconductor and James Prior joining SiFive . The remnants of the HEDT idea, which were already planned in advance, have remained, although in the last generation it is only a miserable one. High End Desktop (HEDT) is dead for the time being. -

Todays's tidbit. Nothing have changed from older days tech vs today. Almost no performance gain for the sucessor and the prices follow same paths for the newer memory standard as for the older gens(more expensive than it's predecessor). Yep, not much have changed in the tech industri. New standard means only new ways to maximize the profits around release. In the test 15 years ago: DDR3 celebrated its premiere with the Intel P35 at Asus computerbase.de The appearance of DDR3 was reminiscent of the debut of its predecessor in more ways than one: significantly higher prices without a noticeable advantage. The new technology was therefore not really recommended at the time of publication. The actual advantages of DDR3 over DDR2 would only become apparent in the years to come, similar to DDR2 over DDR before. DDR5 will be the same for years to come. ....................................................................... Intel's greed have no limits. And if they as they stated don't trust own products, maybe start design/create something better. And what's the difference vs their more expensive unlocked K chips.... You void the warranty there as well, if you run their chips outside specs. What a Joke. If the bin quality is so bad, maybe instead use those chips in thin and slimyJokebooks and not for desktops? BCLK ‘Non-K CPU’ Overclocking Motherboards For Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake CPUs Are Here But Chipzilla Isn’t Happy About Them Intel believes that the Non-K Alder Lake CPUs aren't designed to handle overclocking and can degrade the performance or even kill the CPUs after prolonged uses. -

Huge happiness in the MSI camp now. The AMD boys/girls can finally enjoy overclocking with their "special" Ryzen gamer chips. Yep, the bios is in beta but I expect thats not a problem for those that have struggled with all bugs from AMD the last two years. The MSI forum administrator also shared screenshots of some Cinebench R23 runs that he did on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Unfortunately, he didn't detail the settings he had modified, but his results showed a 4.7% higher multi-core performance. Sadly, single-core performance didn't see any benefits, with a margin of less than 1%. The firmware is currently in beta, so MSI still has to iron out all the bugs and whatnot. For example, it's unknown if the brand only offers the unlocked options on the MEG X570 Unify or if it'll extend support to other AMD motherboards. There's also no word on when the official firmware will be ready. Keep calm and tweak on 🙂 https://www.tomshardware.com/news/msi-x570-beta-bios-enables-ryzen-7-5800x3d-tweaking -

You should have been on vaccation to bro Papusan and enjoyed the disgusting weather we have her near the North pole. Yep, sleet, snow, rain and hail. And nice warming 8.5C degrees (yep, no sun) and we are in the middle of summer and the sun turns in 3 four days. This spring and summer we have almost not seen the sun. Aka a full race back to the dreaded dark season (rain, snow, wind, the dark and cold) without seeing much sun in the summer part. I HATE IT! Hi bro Ashtrix. Forget use an air cooler. Regarding the fans for the AIO. I have replaced them with better fans who is directly connected to the MB. I have the Corsair chassis aka have the Corsair commander center. But I don't use it. I prefer manual or tuned fans from the MB. And if you want the fans connected to the pump and you want to regulate the fans, the pump will be affected by this. Low fan speed means you'll force the pump to run at lower speed. Not adviced. The fan pump need to run at max rated speed (but there is no noise run it this way). I have rolled up the original fan cable for the fans and stripped them / hidden them (having them still in there means I can sell this AIO complete kit with the original fans later). You could of course remove them totally if that is something you want/prefer. But don't connect much stronger fans on the same fan cable from the pump head if you want to swap out the weak fans for something better. A new baby. GTX 480. The famous first gen Fermi. A nice hot running card. Ethereum Miners Spent $15 Billion on GPUs Alone During Latest Cryptocraze tomshardware.com Based on data from JPR, desktop GPU sales totaled $51.8 billion for all of 2021. That was spread across the 49.021 million GPUs sold — a four-year high. As far as average pricing is concerned, we're talking about $1,056 per unit in 2021, which is about two times higher than the average price for a high-end graphics card in Q3 2019 Nonetheless, 14.2 million is significant given that we're talking about six quarters when Ethereum mining thrived. In fact, from Q4 2020 through Q1 2022, about 73.55 million desktop discrete GPUs shipped. Keeping in mind that nowadays the market of standalone GPUs splits roughly 50:50 between desktops and laptops, it looks like Ethereum might have consumed about 10% of the whole discrete GPU output from Q4 2020 to the end of Q1 2022. The 10% help from the miners helped Nvidia and its partners maxing out profits (double up the MSRP). And Nvidia got the needed help raise the price point so they can make better profits for coming gen cards. We will see 🙂 -

3090 Ti should have been the 3090. Aka $1500 at release. Near two years old and soon replaced. $1600 is all too much for this #old# graphics card. Let Nvidia/and their partners learn how it feels to be screwed. No thanks! See from 6:50. -

Maybe you rather want Intel's brand new Arc A-series GPUs? 😀 They should be a bit cheaper than the cards you'll get from Nvidia/AMD. Intel try follow Microsoft (new HW requirements for their new OS) and will help you to speed up your HW upgrade cycle. Isn't that sweet done of them?🙂 If you want the very best performance out from their new Arc Alchemist desktop GPUs, then you'll have to buy the newest and greatest platforms from Intel and AMD to be able to the get most out from your new Intel graphics cards purchase. This regardless if you buy their new low end or high end graphics cards models. And you're forced to do a firmware update if you wish to run an Arc A-series GPU like the recently released A380 on a 10th Gen Intel platform. Nice. Intel confirms Arc GPUs must have AMD SAM / PCIe Resizable BAR for "optimal" performance https://www.neowin.net/news/intel-confirms-arc-gpus-must-have-amd-sam--pcie-resizable-bar-for-optimal-performance/ Source: Intel -

Even new released Winaero Tweaker can't fix this OS. Winaero Tweaker 1.40 is here with new features and fixes I am releasing a new version of Winaero Tweaker. Traditionally, there are some fixes and updates, as well as new features. It now can properly recognize Windows 11 22H2 and its successor. Also on Windows 11, it will allow you to show tray icons on two or three rows, enable stickers, remove the Spotlight icon from Desktop, remove "add to favorites" from context menu, and more. There are also new features for other Windows versions.

New has to be better. Always. Isn't that true bro @Ashtrix @Mr. Fox? Do they even test it before they push it out? Or maybe the few Guine pigs they rely on for testing don't bother report it as "the new has to be better"? No need to mention this if you look at the new smartphone sized motherboard for the junk. And people are more hanged up in Dell's "new design choice" of the chassis than the soldered on Cpu 🙂 Personally, I'm starting to feel like the quest for thinner, (lighter) devices is becoming too costly to continue. It's bad enough the new XPS 13 has ditched the microSD card reader, but that's admittedly a niche port that many people never have cause to use. But the headphone jack?! As my colleague Henry T. Casey noted, even Apple hasn't gone so far as to remove the headphone jack from its new MacBook Air 2022 (which is thinner than the new XPS 13, by the way), and Apple is the company that kicked off this anti-headphone jack trend in the first place. So if you're frustrated by the lack of a headphone port on your next XPS laptop, know that it's gone because Dell claims laptops are now getting so thin they can't even accommodate a 3.5mm jack. New Dell XPS 13 kills the one thing it shouldn’t — and I’m upset https://www.tomsguide.com/news/new-dell-xps-13-kills-the-one-thing-it-shouldnt-and-im-upset

Hope Nvidia, AMD and Intel have put some money aside for poorer times. No miners will come to rescue this time helping them to push the MSRP 2x upwards for maximale profits. Their only option to increase MSRP well above the normal is to limit the inventory of new cards, so the scalpers can make some profits. But that will be less profitable than try sell more cards. And what with the flood of used cards we will see the coming months? No money in that for Nvidia and AMD. Its called Payback time 🙂 Considering the repeated announcements about higher TSMC costs over the past year, AMD, Intel, and Nvidia might end up being forced to cut deeply into their GPU profit margins. Don't feel too bad for them, though — they should have some extra cash from the last two years. Below MSRP and Only Getting Cheaper: The GPU Deluge Begins https://www.tomshardware.com/news/graphics-card-prices-update-june-15 Crypto Crashed So Hard It May No Longer Be Profitable To Mine Ethereum If you're thinking about mining Ethereum as a side hustle, you should probably shelve the idea for the time being because, for the most part, it's not currently profitable. They still give it a value of 87% in their review. And people look at the high score and jump on it. Reviewers should stop give high value rating for pure junk. If they have rated this mess with the more correct sub 50% then I expect Acer won't make any profits from their trashbooks. They would burn in with a lot unsold units.
