  1. More disgusting from the Redmond tech company.... Why can't the users determine what they themself want installed on their pc's? Spotify app is automatically getting installed on Windows 10 & Windows 11
  2. If they run colder be you sure the OEM will either shrink the chassis or save money on the cooling. I saw for a few days ago a video with Travis North (Dell’s thermal engineer) and Intel’s engineering team, said over capacity coolers is wasted money if you can run HW at specs with less powerful cooling. He said etc processors is meant to run at tj-max. 24/7. Because of TAU the boost won’t last forever. Boost clock is for burst loads. Long term load is base clock speed (lower TDP).
  3. Nvidia test different design before they nail all specs. And they know there is leaks. One of the reasons they want that the GPU-Z author has to hide info about not released HW.... GPU-Z update will limit NVIDIA engineering sample GPU leaks
  4. From the horse mouth.... GeForce RTX 40 Series & Power Specifications - Nvidia staff For more information about RTX 40 Series System Specifications please see: RTX 4090 RTX 4080 And I have already posted info about this... Here
  5. More proprietary filthy similar what Dell is known to offer gamer kids is coming to all brands of HW. When is enough enough? From an older Wccftech article - May 24, 2022.... "Such a motherboard design will be useless in existing PC cases which means that Project Zero is going to extend beyond just a cool motherboard design and MSI will offer its own gaming PC case as a part of the DIY Kit. The motherboard with its all-black aesthetics really does more just to the Stealth naming used by Gigabyte & AORUS for their own custom kit". Now a new article pop up about the same filthy but with ASUS in mind..... ASUS DIY-APE Revolution concept improves cable management for Intel and AMD PC motherboards | Oct 1, 2022, ASUS unleashes new DIY-APE Revolution project to improve PC cable management for Intel and AMD motherboards Gigabyte has made its attempt at cable management with its Stealth program while MSI teased its Project Zero, bearing a similar concept of a clutter-free chassis. The company utilizes a combination of graphics cards, additional components, and the motherboard to assist in improving and limiting cord clutter. Gigabyte's design is proprietary to them, so other companies have attempted to improve cable management by their means. ASUS's newest design is more of a collaboration than what we have seen before. Companies such as LIAN LI, SAMA, CoolerMaster, Phanteks, Cougar, and Jonsbo are working with ASUS to create the new DIY-APE Revolution design, which is anticipated to be available for Intel H610, B660, and B760 motherboard compatibilities. However, the company has also talked about working with AMD and its motherboard lines. Of course the chassis makers want to be with them into this journey. I think the direction goes to slimmer and smaller, pretty kute Chassis. 90% + of all chassis sold will be more as Dell's high end gaming flagship Junk.
  6. "Nvidia has said that next-gen Lovelace GPUs will be capable of doubling up rasterization performance compared to Ampere graphics cards". Haven't nvidia said the same before?🙂 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Benchmark Leak Shows A 60 Percent Gain Over RTX 3090 Ti It's the first of October, which means there's only 11 days left before you can buy your own GeForce RTX 4090—assuming your pockets are deep enough, anyway. We have already seen that AMD struggle sell out the new Ryzen AM5 platform due awful value (the full package is more than the Ryzen 7000 chips). The Chip production falls due bad times. And Nvidia still hope that people will pay more than ever for new graphics cards. Also overprice for castrated cards as 4080@12GB that should be labeled the 3070 replacement. Not so sure nvidia will manage to make huge profits on greed this time, if AMD and Intel play their cards well. I don't think people is ready to pay crypto prices for new graphics cards after two years in the dark (due miners, gredy retail, lack of cards and scalpers). We'll see. Maybe Nvidia are able to sell out the first batch cards, but the cards will be in sales 2 years forwards. Maybe nvidia's ceo Jensen have seen the paint on the wall? Would you pay up to $1,999 for one of these custom RTX 4090 cards? https://www.techspot.com/news/96155-third-party-rtx-4090-cards-listed-up-1999.html Asus in front and try out how far they can push the price point GEFORCE RTX 4090The first custom designs are on the market for 1,999 to 2,549 euros The first custom designs of the GeForce RTX 4090 have already arrived in stores at prices ranging from 1,999 to 2,549 euros.
  7. Depending on the game and if you use new modern features. But new doesn't mean 100% performance uplift ofer it's predecessor. Nvidia never offer this. Neither do AMD or intel. It's called.....
  8. Yep. Dell was one of the first that offered crippling of Intel processors... Google TCC Offset. You can also castate Intel chips. If you need to cripple the Cpu... Maybe buy an different lower end SKU. Oh'nooo. Even the weaker lower core Zen 4 chips run 95C, HaHa 🙂 Gone is the days you could use an mid range air-cooler for modern desktop processors. The sales of Zen 4 goes so slow that retailers need to offer free parts, LOOL U.S. Retailer Gives Free 32GB DDR5-5600 Kit with Ryzen 7000 CPU tomsshardware.com https://www.tomshardware.com/news/us-retailer-gives-free-32gb-ddr5-5600-kit-with-ryzen-7000-cpus
  9. They said 100% more cores also for Amp vs Turing. Did they get 100% more gaming performance? And I don't talk about fake numbers with new fancy features.
  10. I have never seen Nvidia offer 100% performance uplift from one gen to the next for mobile graphics. And gone is the days with same nvidia die for desktops and Jokebooks. Nvidia even offer 4080 in two different die's for desktop cards as etc 4080 nowadays. One of them is castrated and should be a differnt lower end SKU.
  11. nvidia screwed up the 4000 series graphics with fake 4080 to increase profits. Should be 4070. Imagine how the OEM and Nvidia will screw up for the laptop-Jockeys? And maybe Intel will follow up and make it a complete disaser. This if you go with next gen Jokebooks..... Intel Raptor Lake-H Core i7-13700H and Core i9-13900HK leak indicates minor gains in single-core and largely similar multi-core scores as Alder Lake-H
  12. I see more games below 90 fps. The few inflated games that is above 150 fps screw up the whole graph. I would say well below 90 fps 🙂
  13. Look from 11:20 Zen 4 sell horrible. Maybe the need for the full package is too much to swallow? Next on the list who will have horrible sales... Nvidia? Yep, hope so. People have less money nowadys and this will of course stop you from spending all too much on the most expensive tech. And the "new normal from AMD" as 95C wasn't very tempting. A year old Alder lake is still a thing.... AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Review: 8-Core Zen 4 Can't Quite Top Its 'Alder Lake' Counterpart pcmag.com
  14. Be at the mercy of Nvidia just mean you all will be screwed. Maybe they will let 3000 series have it but at what costs? It's Nvidia that will dictate how it will perform. And they are the master of tuning drivers for all their "older" graphics cards. At least if we talk about features meant for newest cards. Could be they make it halfway works 🙂 This way, maybe you finaly see that newest gen cards is what you want. More as ads for the new, HaHa Nvidia's tone-deaf RTX 40-series pricing is a golden opportunity for AMD and Intel LOOL. nvidia is afraid the new power connector and high power consumption will push buyers over on the Red side's new gen graphics cards (Most likely very comparable graphics cards vs Nvidia 4000 series and at cheaper price). Yep very needed HaHa Nvidia Clears the Air on GeForce RTX 40-series Power Requirements
  15. I have no problem with that 🙂 Newegg Listings of Custom RTX 4090 Graphics Cards Indicate Pricing-Sanity Slowly Returning Techpowerup.com | Today As with the recent pre-launch listing of 13th Gen Core desktop processors, US retailer Newegg put out listings of various custom-design NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 "Ada" graphics cards, revealing their launch prices. These prices appear close enough to the $1,599 baseline price set by NVIDIA, to conclude that pricing sanity is slowly returning to the graphics card market. A lot will however depend on how the market behaves on October 12, when the RTX 4090 goes on sale; particularly whether scalpers vaporize inventory within minutes. Even if they did, scalpers would only see demand from the niche that actually wants to spend north of $1,600 on a graphics card, there are no crypto-currency miners lining up to buy graphics cards. Especially not after the Ethereum merge. The ASUS ROG Strix O24G is the most expensive card of the lot, priced at $1,999, or a $400 premium. Nvidia’s tone-deaf RTX 40-series pricing is a golden opportunity for AMD and Intel Nvidia's RTX 40-series cards come with a massive sticker shock, and a chance for its competitors to strike back hard.
  16. More pict of the crocks for bro @electrosoft🙂 And more parts. I can probably build a second setup with what I have now. The new black tubes have same (ID) but thicker (OD). Easier to bend without get kinks in the hose. I also have blank tubes in the drawer, but those is ugly and will destroy the "all black" looks. Not even an option as spare parts. Maybe my older son want it. He enjoy lots of lights (bling bling). From what I have read on the web, the Thermalright contact frame won't do much if you have the new EK water block for 1700 socket. But I still ordered it. And yep, there is a difference in inner diameter on different brands fittings that have same diameter (ID) specs. This is the weakest link in the loop together with lots of 90° angle/QDC fittings. I will rather use an 2x45 rotary fitting and replace the 90° angle fittings where it fits. Just sad I had only the black chrome options. Oh'well. But it won't be a big problem as it will be for the top radiators and out of sight. And the bling bling is picked of from the pump. All black bro @Mr. Fox 🙂Probably many that think I go bananas destroying bling bling thaty follow the hardware. Just sad you have to pay more for features I don't want.
  17. Look at this disgusting mess. Asus say you can't downgrade. But the stupids at Microsoft who got the bioses from Asus will offer an downgrade. This is todays tech.... Whats the difference between stupid and retarded? Can they be both?
  18. Asus prefer the Dell way. If you prefer older bios versions for benching older Cpu's then you are screwed if you update your firmware for 13th gen processors. When did Asus learn all the dirty tricks in the book from Dell? This comes on on top of forced bios updates with windows. Yep, Asus let Microsoft help them push out new buggy beta bios versions. Asus = Dell now. Can't be any worse than that. And EVGA is soon no options. What have we left? Not much if you ask me. Desktops going the way we have with lap-jokes.
  19. The hidden mess is due Futuremark help the hardware manufacturers to stop spreading benchmarks results from not released hardware. Disgusting that the users that have paid for an software license being treated like this. Their coding skills is awful if they can’t differentiate what results that can be showed. And UL still can’t fix the eGpu mess in the different results leaderboards. So there you have Futuremark UL 😎
  20. Be aware you need an beefy cooling. One bin up for each 20C degrees you can go below... The new normal. God luck, brother with your new build. And remember... Don't go bananas with bling bling😎 All black, brother🙂
  21. Dell Alienware with a huge uprade of their +20 years old chassis construction (a old box wrapped in with glossy pastic). I don't mean the chassis. The re-fresh is in short the same old trash-box but with 240mm AIO, slightly stronger PSU and a couple of more fans. Yep, a huge upgrade this time from Dell. Yep forgot, they even offer DDR5-4800 memory this time. Dell = Today's Joke. And I'm 100% sure the Alienware fanboys will be very pleased/happy with this new fantastic upgrade. Oh' gosh, happy i don't have to spend a dime on this. Alienware Aurora R15 Gets 13th Gen Intel, RTX 40-Series, Better Cooling By Tomshardware.com | Today Finally, a 240 mm AIO CPU cooler. Yep, that huge 240 mm AIO will make wonders for the 13th gen Intel unlocked flagship. https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/alienware-aurora-r15-update-rtx-4090-intel-13th-gen/ Huge beeefy VRM cooler-block heatsinks. And Alienware says the Aurora R15 supports whopping eight lighting zones, including several internal ambient and other lighting capabilities. So you should be able to customize the lighting to your specific tastes (and to show off to others - your equals).
  22. I just hope AMD will take an Intel for RDNA 3-based RX 7000 cards and destroy the fun for Nvidia. And they can do that with their new cards. Blink blink, Jensen 🙂
  23. The main problem is the latest and greatest from Redmond. New changes in the core OS and more useless features will make a huge havoc for the users. And Redmond say they will release new moments several times a year now. This on top of the feature updates annually. And this below will be the outcome.... Todays Microsoft word... HAVOC!!!! More update problems, this time affecting Rocket Lake processors Windows 11 22H2 suffers nasty bug that crashes some PCs with Intel CPUs By Darren Allan published Today Got an Intel CPU? Then you may not be able to upgrade to Windows 11 22H2, at least not yet.
