  1. yep, unfortunately thats the way everything is heading towards: everything as a service with recurring monthly payments and no actual real ownership of the product... not sure im a fan of that 🙄
  2. i think so, but dont take my word for it, since ive never personally tried it myself 🙂 but in general u retain backwards compaibility but gain forward compatibility, yeah.
  3. no worries man, thats what NBT is for 🙂 if i remember correctly, you need a specific amount of posts on TI first before u can start downloading stuff.
  4. haha you can try and check with him via his website: https://premamod.wordpress.com/ there is also the Dsanke bios mod, which used to be freely available on NBR but not sure where you could get it from nowadays. you can try searching through the NBRchive here: https://www.nbrchive.net/ or maybe try over at TechInferno forums? edit: heres an older thread from Dsanke i found on NBR - https://www.nbrchive.net/xfa/sager-and-clevo.1017/Coffee Lake BIOS updates P751DM2-G/
  5. hmmm, thats a tricky subject. in "ye olden days" Prema Mod used to be freely accessible and donation based until someone decided to copy and use it commercially for their own gain. nowadays you either get it from a Prema Partner vendor against a fee or from the great Wizard himself 🙂
  6. agreed, they're probably like: ohno! one less night at the strip clubs this year!
  7. not really from what ive heard....apparently theyre not even licensed by clevo to carry their name 😅
  8. thats when the mobile "cold bug" starts working its magic it seems 😄
  9. 😊 double post and cant remove that first smiley on mobile it seems.... 😅
  10. thx man, be sure to have a look! already have a license for start10, so ill check and see if there are any significant stuff shed be missing out on 😊
  11. hey guys, got some new interesting infos from having a nice little chat with our beloved Clevo wizard Prema: - @win32asmguygo ahead and try to disable VBS / HVCI, maybe that could impvoe voltage adjustment with E Cores enabled: https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/disable-vbs-windows-11 - P and E Cores share the same core voltage, but cache voltages are separate - the eDP throttle reason were seeing in TS is due to the board limiting max amperage being drawn. according to Prema, even if we disable the eDP throttling, the board would then instantly shutdown once that amperage limit is exeeded. so with this in mind, well have to squeeze out as much as we an from the available 125W PL1 envelope we have available while minimizing the core voltage (binned cpus FTW) and of course keep the system VRMs as cool as possible to minimize efficiency losses due do excessive heat. - the max amperage limit set on the NH systems seems to be around 90A --> based on 125W PL1, that equates to a max core voltage of 1.388V before we hit the 90A limit and start throttling... btw, my gf's system has been built and is now on its way, should get it sometime next week 🙂
  12. very interesting, i basically just discovered both him and Sophie thanks to @Mr. Fox and this thread, i'll be sure to give them both a whirl when I install Win11 for my lady's new machine.

Superman & Lois The Blacklist The Book of Boba Fett The Boys The Flash The Mandalorian The Walking Dead What If Watching with my lady: Cobra Kai Scandal The 100 Spartacus yep, im a total TV Show fanatic *lol*
  14. are you saying you DONT prioritize RGB above performance / form over function?!?!?! HAU DEER YUH! @johnksss quote: "Reminds me of people back in 2008 saying the same things then as now.... And since we have already done it with our low level watts locked vBioses I'm going to have to say....You are probably wrong....(in a nice way.🙂) So to answer your question, yes it's possible, but not in the sense you keep trying to convey it in. Short answer. Prema. Long answer. The unknown is always considered impossible. Explanation: You are fixated on 115W. In this case it's just a number that can in fact be changed. What cant really be changed is the fact it's a 3060. (User khenglish does not count here-LOL) Once you realize this, things will start to become clearer and make more sense...." sorry for the janky quote, lol. whatever happened to khenglish? is he still around?
  15. LOL i knooooooow, couldn't have put it better myself! 🤣 a Nerd-Gang *rofl*
  16. after so many years im STILL playing Titan Quest, especially now after they've recently published yet ANOTHER expansion, gotta love those guys 😁 ive made my way through normal and epic difficulty, now for the first time ive got access to legendary 🤠
  17. welcome back dude, the more the merrier 😃 lets make NBT the place to be 😁
  18. yep good point, forgot to mention that it also includes the antenna adapter cables 😊
  19. for RAM speeds, id check if the machine supports XMP profiles. if that is not the case, then go the safe route and choose ram sticks that run at 2133 mhz with their stock SPD / JEDEC profiles (thus no manual activation needed via intel xtu). that way only ur cpu imc and the motherboard traces habe to play along, but that should be fine. if xmp / ram oc is supported u might massage even more speed out of it! on my previous clevo p150HM with sandy bridge platform i was able to push up to 2200 Mhz and i even saw other doing up to 2400 Mhz! back to the 2133 mhz SPD sticks: Kingston HyperX 2133 mhz were SPD sticks that do not require XMP: http://geizhals.at/1186628 funny coincidence: if youre interested, i might soon be selling 2x8GB of those 2133 mhz sticks, since ill be parting out my gf's old machine 😄 also have a mpcie to m.2 adapter with an Intel AX200 wifi adapter available. lemme know 😊
  20. duuude that is is indeed highly interesting! i just recently read the news about raptor lake leaked info of the flagship sporting 8P + 16E cores, so that bios option would make total sense in that context. tbh, thats what i was counting on / hoping for when selecting this laptop, having another shot at a nextgen cpu upgrade to push its achieveable lifetime to the max 🙂 thx for pointing out the previous post again, that was a d'oh from my side 😇😋
